At least three or four times a year we try to go somewhere different, unusual or exotic (everyone goes to the BVI's)  We like to go to Thailand, Belize, Finland, New Zealand or Tonga. All of our trips are planned for groups of six (6) or twelve (12) etc.

We are planning a course/cruise, offering the experience of sailing a chartered 38-foot catamaran in these waters, while learning the skills necessary for sailing, navigating, and earning the certification which allows you to charter a sailboat, (Mono-hull or Catamaran).  You may take this trip just for the fun of it, or you may audit this course just for the training. If you want or need the certification, you will need the stamps in your logbook for American Sailing Association’s Basic Keelboat (101) and Basic Costal Cruising (103). These two courses provide an introduction to sailing, and the terms and skills of beginning sailing. We can provide 101(BKB) and 103 (BCC) training for free, prior to the trip at our Houston location. For more information click on Belize.

We are planning a return course/cruise of about ten days (seven (7) days on the boat). Offering the experience of sailing a chartered 44-foot sailboat in these waters, while learning the skills  necessary for sailing, navigating, and earning the two (2) or three (3) certifications, American Sailing Association  Basic Costal Cruising (BCC), and Bareboat Chartering (BBC) which allows you to charter a sailboat, almost anywhere in the world (without their $200 or more per day Captain fee). You may take this trip just for the fun of it, or you may audit this course just for the training. If you want or need the certification, you will need the stamp in your logbook for American Sailing Association’s Basic Keelboat (101). Under some conditions all three courses can be provided on the trip. For more information click on Thailand.
